In March, we hosted the very first Qargo Unlocked – a new series of events we’re running for our customers. The response blew us away, and we’re already planning more. So if you missed it, here’s what happened, and why you’ll want to be at the next one.
What is Qargo Unlocked?
Think less conference, more working session. These aren’t slide-heavy seminars. They’re designed to be hands-on, practical, and genuinely useful for the people running and managing transport operations day to day.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Product deepdives – a transport service specific look at how our features can optimise your operations.
- Roadmap sneak peeks – an exclusive preview of what our product team have planned.
- Insights from Qargo customers – hear first-hand how other transport operators are getting the most out of Qargo.
- Conversations with SLT – opportunities to chat with our founders and ask the experts your burning questions.
- Networking with industry peers – meet other transport professionals and discuss industry insights.
Qargo Unlocked: Pallet Network Workshop
The March workshop brought together operators running a range of pallet networks across the UK.
We also had two customers take to the floor to share their own experiences – including Simon Sparrowhawk from Wyvern Cargo, who walked the room through what it’s really like to run Qargo across two live pallet networks simultaneously.
Throughout the day we covered a range of topics – from getting the most out of Qargo’s customer support, to setting up rate cards effectively. But the two sessions that generated the most interest were the product roadmap and a behind-the-scenes look at how our pallet network integrations actually work.

Behind the scenes: Qargo’s integrations
Pulling back the curtain on how pallet network integrations actually work and how the data flows between systems was one of the most popular sessions. Most customers had never seen what happens the moment a consignment is sent to a network and they loved learning more about the process.
Each network integration isn’t a single connection — it spans nine distinct data flows, every one requiring its own logic, error handling, and ongoing maintenance.
The session sparked some of the most engaged conversations of the day — and it encouraged us to share more behind the scenes content at our next sessions.
What’s coming next: Pallet network roadmap
Attendees also got an exclusive look at where we’re taking the product over the coming months.
The product team are focusing on three key themes for pallet networks:
- Improved visibility – keep your operations fully in sync with each network – no manual intervention required.
- Cost charge automation – eliminate manual rate card maintenance whilst improving profitability and accuracy.
- Expanded coverage – new full integrations and streamlined customs processes.
The session generated so many interesting questions and tonnes of useful feedback that we’ll be sure to make this a regular feature at Qargo Unlocked.
Join us at the next Qargo Unlocked
If this sounds like something you’d have wanted to be in the room for, good news – it won’t be the last. We’re building out the Qargo Unlocked calendar and will be announcing upcoming sessions soon, including workshops tailored to different transport services and use cases.
Keep an eye on your inbox for announcements.
