CLdN partners with Qargo to deliver next-generation multimodal transport management solution

We’re delighted to share that CLdN Cargo has successfully gone live on Qargo, marking a major milestone in the company’s digital transformation journey. Following our partnership announcement last year, the two teams have worked closely together to deliver a fast-paced, full-scale implementation – and the results are already speaking for themselves.

Scalability and automation are at the heart of CLdN Cargo’s strategy. Qargo’s cloud-based platform now supports the full order-to-pay process across CLdN Cargo’s multimodal network – spanning sea, rail, and road – including order management, planning, execution, billing and reporting. Customers benefit from a seamless digital connection to CLdN Cargo and real-time visibility into the status of their shipments.

From kickoff to go-live in record time

The project kicked off in December 2025. Through January, joint workshops brought CLdN Cargo and Qargo teams together to analyse business requirements and configure the platform to match CLdN’s operational processes. Into spring, the superuser team led training, continued configuration, and thorough testing to prepare the business for launch.

Replacing a transport management system that had been in place since 2007 was no small undertaking. The speed and quality of the delivery is a testament to the commitment and expertise of everyone involved – from the core project team and business process management colleagues to key users and IT.

Early gains already visible

Even in the early days of operation, users across the business are noticing real improvements. The platform’s flexibility allows teams to build customised views and retrieve information far more efficiently than before. Processes that previously required multiple tools and files alongside the legacy system can now be managed entirely within Qargo – including planning activities that no longer need to be maintained separately.

The platform has also proven intuitive to learn. During training, employees were creating orders within 30 minutes – and customers using the portal reported how easy it was to use.

“Going live on a completely new transport management system is a significant step, and we’re pleased with how well the transition has gone so far,” said Eva Van Steelant, Chief Operating Officer at CLdN Cargo. “Qargo gives us the flexibility and automation we need to keep improving our multimodal services — and the early feedback from our teams, customers and suppliers has been very encouraging.”

Adriaan Coppens, Co-founder and CEO of Qargo, added: “We’re proud to partner with CLdN, a company that shares our commitment to innovation and operational excellence. Together, we’ll enable smarter, data-driven transport management that supports CLdN’s continued growth and sustainability goals.”

The successful go-live reinforces Qargo’s mission to help transport and logistics companies across Europe digitise operations, increase efficiency, and reduce environmental impact through intelligent automation and real-time insight.
